  • Christy strives for impeccable service while providing clients with solutions that fit their individual needs.  Christy’s main focus is helping Hawaii’s retirees make important decisions when it comes to their long-term healthcare options so that they can relax and enjoy retirement with peace of mind.  Oftentimes many people can feel overwhelmed with having so many different choices.  Many are put in a position of having to make important decisions without fully understanding what their options are, and without knowing the implications of what they have chosen.  As US citizens, we live in a country that allows for a lot of benefits that most countries could not afford.  Christy urges us to utilize all of these benefits and all of the resources available to us.  As a foreign national from South Korea, having lived in Hawaii for 13 years, Christy has had an amazing experience with the people of Hawaii.  Hawaii has treated her well and she would like to give back to her Ohana by devoting her time and efforts to make them feel safe and well informed.
  • Prior to working for Financial Benefits Insurance, Christy worked in sales as a Certified Insurance Agent with State Farm Insurance, where she specialized in Home, Auto and Whole Life Insurance.  Along with her expertise in servicing clients in the insurance industry, Christy is a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties where she helps individuals and families find permanent residences.  Previous to her work experiences locally here in Honolulu Christy founded and managed the “Kids Land” School for English Learning, a business which focused on teaching English to children in Seoul Korea.  Christy also gained valuable work experience in the hospitality industry while working for 5-Star International Hotels in Sydney Australia and Seoul Korea.  Christy graduated from the University of Seoul where she majored in Sociology.  She also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Hawaii and graduated from the Cesar Ritz Carlton College of Hotel Management based in Sydney.
